| Competitive coach
requirements/rules/guidelines for CYSA |
| |
| You need a minimum of 4 years coaching experience or 3
years and an E license |
| It is mandatory to have an assistant coach in our
competitive division. |
| You need to make a total commitment, to include the
costs of traveling and hotel expenses. |
| Each team is required to have a minimum of twice as many
practices as games (More are
encouraged) |
| Each Team will need to have enough players to have a
quality team . (14 is the Minimum for a team of 11) |
| (If there are not
enough players for a team by January the players will be allowed a refund and to move
to a rec team.) |
| The final decision for the coaching staff of any Cloquet
team is approval by the board. |
| We suggest that each player gets to play 1/2 of each
regular season game. |
| You will need to keep track of all of the team expenses. |
| During the season you will have days that are consumed
by paper work/rescheduling. |
| We encourage a team web site to help with the paperwork,
and to keep everyone up to date. |
| We encourage the use of our club professionals at
practices. |
| This is a volunteer position, we do
not pay our coaches. |
